In today’s world, it has become so much more important to count chemicals instead of calories. From what we spray in the air, to what we put in our mouths, chemicals are everywhere, and it is more important than ever to teach our children and grandchildren to COOK! To much processed food is bad for us, and one look at the ingredients is proof of that, so lets get cooking!
Meat is not the enemy so let’s make some Kabobs with Bison steak
2 Lbs boneless bison steaks (cubed) | 1 Tbsp Salt | 3 Jalapeno Peppers (no seeds, chopped) | 2 Garlic cloves | 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar | 1 Tbsp Toato paste | 2 Tbsp Honey | 2 Tbsp Coconut oil | 2 Large Green peppers | Skewers
NOTE: You can use any color peppers you like and also add any other veggies as well (as shown in photo)
Place bowl and sprinkle with salt. Let sit while you work on the next steps.
In a blender on high speed or Vitamix, blend the jalapeños, garlic cloves, apple cider vinegar, tomato paste, honey, and coconut into a saucy marinade mixture.
Pour the mixture over the meat in the bowl and let sit for 1 hour.
Cut the green pepper into large squares. Arrange the meat and peppers onto skewers. Alternate between the steak and veggies.
Drizzle some virgin olive oil over the meat and peppers.
Place the skewers onto the grill over the hottest part and cook for 1 minute on each side. Move the skewers to a cooler portion of the grill and cook until the bison is medium rare (about 6 minutes)
