At first glance, this is a few acres of heaven, Fort Trodd family campground resort resides in Clyde Township Michigan. Those not familiar with some of Michigans smaller towns will find this just west of Port Huron. As full-time RV’rs, we have two home bases, Michigan, and Key Largo, and this is our chosen camp for the next 5 months.
My view as I write this is one that I have always hoped for, however, never thought I would get! (Above)
We have only been here one day and most of that day was spent setting up on our water lot. To our left is a small beach, and towards the front of the park is a large beach.
Directly to our right is a quaint bridge that crosses over to a small island, where one can practice catch and release fishing techniques.
Although I have not had enough time here to fully review this park, I do have some initial reactions, one of which is the fact that it is a gated community. One might think that this is a great thing, as do we, however, one thing we did not consider is the fact that visitors have to park up front and walk in to visit. So now the hunt is on for a super cheap golf cart, as we are near the back of the park. lol
