No Guilt Chocolate Cherry Pie!Whether on a diet, or just eating ‘clean’ we all need a little sweetness in our life, and this no guilt chocolate cherry pie is just the thing. Eliminate sugar and use more organic ingredients to get that sweetness you crave.

1 1/2 Cups almond flour | 3/4 Cup coconut flour | 1/4 tsp almond extract | 4 Cups cherries pitted and sliced | 1/2 Cup coconut oil | 1 Tbsp cocoa powder | 1/4 tsp. salt | 1 egg | water

Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine the almond flour, coconut flour, coconut oil, cocoa powder, salt, and egg in a bowl and mix well. This should result in a crumbly mixture. Next, slowly add water in 1-tablespoon increments and mix well to help you form a dough.

Grease a cake pan with coconut oil and use hands to spread the crust throughout the pan and up the sides evenly. Use leftover crust to crumble on top later.

Place crust in the oven and bake for 8 minutes.

While the crust is baking, place honey and 1 cup of water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until well-combined. Slowly add in arrowroot powder and continually stir until sauce thickens. Add in all cherries and then continue to stir over the heat for 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat, add almond extract if desired, and stir well.

The crust should be out of the oven now; pour the cherry mixture into the crust. Bake for 15–20 minutes. Remove, and let cool. Delish!
