Trying to become a full time, paid writer is grueling, has long hours, and can be frustrating. It is also the best thing I have ever done for myself. Most of my life has been giving to others, my children, my parents, my grandchildren, now it is my turn. Sometimes I am so disturbed and angry with myself for not knowing that writing was my one true passion, but fortunately, I am so busy that I do not have much time to feel sorry for myself.
I have completed the draft for my first in a series of children’s books and I am now researching what I should DO with that draft. Do I submit it to a publisher? Do I write a couple more drafts within my theme? Do I take a nap? 😀 A nap sounds good, and I can dream of great success!
But alas, I have no time for naps, I must start on a newsletter template (3) for the Dry Cleaners I am currently doing marketing for. Then I will look for content for April, both factual and witty! Research! The key to my current existence, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
